Travel Awards

1) Graduate School Travel Awards Opportunities for Funding

The Graduate School offers awards up to $800 a year (up to $400 each trip) for travel for doctoral research and for travel to professional meetings and conferences.

2) Religion Department Travel Awards

The Religion Department awards funding for travel to graduate students who are making presentations at regional, national or international conferences, ($100, $250, or $300, respectively) based upon the availability of departmental funds.

3) The Glenn O. and Martell B. Hilburn Endowed Graduate Research Scholarship Fund

The Glenn O. and Martell B. Hilburn Endowed Graduate Research Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Dr. Glenn Hilburn, chair of the Religion Department, 1983-1998. The intent of this fund is to support needed dissertation research by graduate students, with awards of up to $4,000.
