Biography
Dr. David Moseman has been serving as a full-time lecturer in the Religion Department since the fall of 2007. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Leigh, who teaches sixth-grade, special- needs students. They enjoy spending time together and with their two beautiful daughters, Katherine and Carolyn. He also enjoys learning, reading, playing games, speaking Spanish, working in the yard, working with wood, movies, making and decorating cakes, creative writing, working out and running, and singing. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Woodway.
At Baylor, Dr. Moseman enjoys teaching Intro to Scriptures, Christian Heritage, Hebrew, Former Prophets, Senior Seminar, and being part of his students’ journeys. In recent years, he has been the faculty leader for Christian Pre-health Fellowship mission trips to Nicaragua and Uganda.
Academic Interests and Research
His current interests include the Former Prophets, the Primary History, and the stories of Habakkuk, Jonah, and Abraham, and their relevance for our spiritual development.
