Biography
Dr. Taylor Holleyman joins the Religion Department as a full-time temporary lecturer for the 2023-2024 academic year. He grew up locally in Robinson, TX. Dr. Holleyman is a graduate of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Baylor University’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary. During his time in seminary, he also served as an associate minister at First Baptist Church of Waco. Further graduate work took him to Edinburgh, Scotland, where he lived and studied, receiving a Master of Theology and PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Holleyman enjoys playing golf and loves traveling with his wife, Enid, and son, John.
Academic Interests and Rsearch
Dr. Holleyman's academic interests include modern theology, systematic theology, and philosophy of religion (esp. epistemology and theological reasoning). His research specialty is the life and thought of the twentieth century Swiss theologian Emil Brunner.
