Ministry Scholarships Application

I hereby apply for the Ministry Scholarship program of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and Baylor University. As evidenced by my written testimony of a personal call to ministry as a part of this application, I affirm that I am committed to a call to church-related vocational ministry. I understand that I am required to take Religion 2480 "Introduction to Ministry" at some point during my studies at Baylor. I further understand that a ministry-vocations assessment is a requirement for the scholarship program and is a part of the Religion 2480 course. Further, I understand that failure to satisfactorily complete the Religion 2480 course will prevent my graduation from Baylor University unless the BGCT Ministry Scholarship is repaid. I understand that there are requirements to be met annually for continued participation in the scholarship program.

I affirm that by my acceptance of the BGCT Ministry Scholarship assistance I establish a contract with the Baptist General Convention of Texas and Baylor University. I grant permission for Baylor University to provide to the Baptist General Convention of Texas my name, Social Security number, address, classification, and number of semester hours for which the Scholarship is granted. I understand that the Baptist General Convention of Texas requests this information about all Ministry Scholarship recipients.,

I agree to comply with the rules and regulations of the BGCT Ministry Scholarship program.

I hereby apply for the Hubler Endowed Scholarship. As evidenced by my written testimony of a personal call to ministry as a part of this application, I affirm that I am committed to a call to church-related vocational ministry. I understand that I am required to take Religion 2480 'Introduction to Ministry' at some point during my studies at Baylor. Further, I understand that failure to satisfactorily complete the Religion 2480 course will prevent my graduation from Baylor University unless the Hubler Scholarship is repaid. I certify that I have read the Hubler Scholarship Information sheet and I understand that there are requirements to be met annually for continued participation in the scholarship program.

 I agree to comply with the rules and regulations of the Hubler Endowed Scholarship.

I have sensed the call of God in my life to prepare for a vocation in a church-related ministry (such as pastor, church staff, missionary, chaplain), and I promise to remain in compliance with the requirements of Baylor University and the Hubler Endowed Scholarship.

Should I come to a point in my understanding of God's will for my life that I no longer sense a call to a church-related vocation, I will immediately inform university officials and no longer accept this financial assistance provided.
